Mickey Drewry, Staff Writer
Hey everyone! My name is Mickey, and this is my senior year at DHS. I am your Student Council President and am also Head Marching Officer in the band. I love playing soccer and writing is my strong suit. I spent two years on yearbook staff, but this is my first year on newspaper staff. My best friend and editor, Rachael and I also write for the Wise County Messenger and compete in all the UIL writing events. I spend most of my time being busy with everything I’m involved in, but in the little spare time I have, I love to read. As far as my personality, I’m a very open person and I absolutely, positively love people-they fascinate me. Check out the Journal every once in a while- there’s a lot of hard work that goes into it and we’re always open to new ideas!
