With fall sports happening in full force at DHS, swim continues to show success in their season. The swimmers compete in another meet today at 6:00

“I’m really excited about district and regionals coming up this season,” sophomore Christian Rodarte said. “Getting to compete alongside my teammates is going to be a really fun experience.”

After a successful swim season last year, swimmers hope to achieve their goals this year.

“My goals are to improve my leadership throughout the team and setting new records for my races,” Rodarte said. “This will be really important for me this year.”

The swimmers are determined and the hunger to win with each meet for the returning team members.

“I think we all really want to do good this year and I believe that we will do what we have to to make that happen,” Rodarte said. “If we practice hard and really put the work in, we can have a successful season.”

Swimming takes a lot of dedication, and the swimmers take on that task this year full of confidence.

“It is going to be hard if more of us want to become successful, but I think we can do it,” Rodarte said. “I’m excited to get started, but we all should work hard for it.”
