After four months of classes, championship games and full halls at DHS, the first semester is finally coming to an end. 

Using this past week to review, DHS will conduct their final exams next week on Monday, Dec. 20 and Tuesday, Dec. 21. A modified schedule with odd periods taking exams on Monday and even periods on Tuesday will be in place for the final two days of semester.

Along with the end of the first semester, Tuesday ushers in the beginning of winter break. Students are set to return on Jan. 10 to start off the new semester.

Despite students being in class just a few days before Christmas, the Student Council has done their part to spread some Christmas cheer. To finish off the semester, the organization had one last spirit week. Centered around Christmas, the week had days that included wearing an ugly sweater to dressing up as Santa Claus. 

Remember to rest, recharge and have fun over the winter break to be prepared to start off the second half of the year.
